「ドラマメソッド®」

As the global society penetrates our daily lives,facilitation is growing in importance as a tool to help us understand different cultures.

While many embrace this change, it follows that facilitation in English is a path to make this understanding a reality.Yet even the skilled facilitator who isn't English native is faced with various barriers when it comes to English facilitation.

To those facilitators, and to others who simply wish to challenge their understanding and skill levels,this workshop will train and stretch your muscles in English communication and provide hints to break through these barriers.

After completing the workshop, we encourage participants to apply the techniques they've learned in real world facilitation events and taste the dynamics of diversity.

MLS Drama Method:

Introduce English facilitation techniques using the dynamic MLS Drama Method and assist participants improve their performance in cross-culture and diverse situations.

World Cafe:

Examine the facilitation techniques we learned and enjoy the taste of new discovery.

国際化社会の浸透で異文化相互理解におけるファシリテーションの重要性は一層増していると思われます。
その中で英語でのファシリテーションは避けて通れないものになりつつあります。ただ、自国語ではない言語である英語でのファシリテーションになんとなく壁を感じているファシリテーターは少なくないのではないでしょうか？

このワークショップではその壁を破るヒントとして英語での「コミュニケーション筋肉を伸ばしたり鍛えたりする」ことを提唱します。その後、実際に簡単にワークショップの中で実践し、多様性の躍動感を味わっていただけたらと思います。このワークショップでは以下の2部構成となります。

第1部　MLSドラマメソッドによる英語でのファシリテーション技術

MLSドラマメソッドの動的技術を通して新しいファシリテーション技術を体得しましょう。それによって様々な多様性、多文化な環境で適応していきましょう。

第2部 前半部での気づきを使ってファシリテーション実施　　

ワールドカフェ方式で第1部で体得したことを実践していただきます。どんな気づきがあるかじっくり味わってください

About MLS

MLS was founded in 1974 by Yoko Narahashi and Masakazu Ota. Founded as a English school it continues to operate now in its 41 year.

The Drama Method used at MLS teaches communication in a way that involves the mind, body and heart ofits students.The method is based on the Broadway directing techniques developed into an educational method.

1974年創立。奈良橋陽子・太田雅一により創業。41年の実績を誇り、英会話の草分けとして知られています。
頭・体・心をフルに使い、ドラマの手法を通して英会話とコミュニケーションを学ぶ 独自の「ドラマメソッドR」を開発・実践していますこの手法は教育的観点に重視した、ブロードウェイの演出技法を基にしています。

Qualifications/対象

Everyone is invited regardless of English skill or facilitation experience !!Enjoy the challenge of this workshop which is conducted entirely in English.We're sorry, but no Japanese support will be provided.

特に英語力やファシリテーション経験について特に具体的なハードル(TOEICスコアなど）は設けません。
全て英語で行うファシリテーション体験を楽しんでください！ただし、日本語でのサポートはありませんのでご理解の上ご参加ください。

Born in Oregon, USA. Currently the General Manager of the Language Division, Educational Department at Model Language Studio (MLS).

Over 15 years' experience as an instructor, trainer of professional English teachers, curriculum and
content developer and workshop facilitation.

定例会後：泡の会/Beer party

You are welcome to join our beer party at your discretion..

テーマ終了後、有志による「泡の会（懇親会）」を予定しております。

• Please note that Beer party is NOT an official event of FAJ./
  泡の会はＦＡＪの活動とは別という位置づけです。（特に会計上）
• 集金総額とお店への支払総額に若干の差額が発生することもありますが、その差額は学生参加者（社会人学生除く）への補助とさせていただきますことをご了承ください。
